1st day of the 8th Power and Energy Congress, organized by IEEE METU Student Branch and sponsored by ODTÜ-GÜNAM, was completed with the valuable and remarkable presentations of the invited speakers from the sector. ODTÜ-GÜNAM President, Tayfun HIZ, who gave the first of these talks, shared information with the young researcher candidates participating in the event on various subjects, from developments in photovoltaic and concentrated solar power technologies to R&D activities carried out within ODTÜ-GÜNAM.
