On August 23, 2023, an “Assessment Meeting” was held at National Metrology Institute located in the TÜBİTAK Gebze Campus for the High Technology Platforms conducted under the scope of TÜBİTAK 1004 – Center of Excellence Support Program.
Minister of Ministry of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih KACIR and TÜBİTAK President Prof. Dr. Hasan Mandal also attended this meeting.
ODTÜ-GÜNAM, the coordinator of the Turkish Photovoltaic Technologies Platform, which continues its activities in line with the TÜBİTAK 1004 Program, and its stakeholders Kalyon PV, Şişecam, Aselsan, Nanovatif Materials Technologies, iTech Solar, Tescom UPS, TÜBİTAK Marmara Research Center took their places within the scope of the meeting.
Representing the platform, ODTÜ-GÜNAM Chair of the Board and Middle East Technical University Physics Department Faculty Member Prof. Dr. Rasit Turan made a presentation. From ODTÜ-GÜNAM, Module Technologies Division Coordinator Dr. Talat Ozden, Emerging Photovoltaic Technologies Division Coordinator Assoc. Prof. Gorkem Gunbas, Silicon Photovoltaic Technologies Researcher Prof. Dr. HUSNU EMRAH UNALAN, and TÜBİTAK 1004 Program TFTP Administrative Manager Büşra MADENOĞLU also attended this meeting.
