ODTÜ-GÜNAM became the solar car sponsor of the Sakarya University Advanced Technologies Application Society (SAITEM) team. The team participates in the WORLD SOLAR CHALLENGE 2023 race, which will be held on 20-27 October 2023, at a distance of 3022 km, in the deserts between the cities of Darwin and Adelaide on the Australian continent.

ODTÜ-GÜNAM President Tayfun HIZ, Module Technologies Division Coordinator Assist. Prof. Talat Ozden and researchers (Ezgi Karahallı, Ahmet Hamdi Aksoy) and Corporate Communications and Event Manager Dr. Emre Demirezen hosted the SAITEM team at GÜNAM Photovoltaic Line (GPVL) to discuss technical consultancy and material support provided during the production processes of SAGUAR.
