One of the six research groups of ODTÜ-GÜNAM is Power Electronics, Grid and System Integration Group (POWERING) where studies are focused on efficient and reliable electricity generation from solar energy resources. POWERING is dedicated to developing power conversion systems not only for electricity grids, but also for the integration of solar energy technologies into transportation, buildings, roads, agricultural and water areas. Application of solar energy into various areas are achieved based on expertise in modeling, simulation, prototyping and testing.

ODTÜ-GÜNAM Among the “Most Successful Turkish Research Institutions”

Based on the official data of the European Commission published on August 22, 2022, according to the “Most Successful Turkish Research Institutions” ranking published by TÜBİTAK Horizon Europe Program, ODTÜ-GÜNAM received a total fund of 1.27 million Euro from the Horizon 2020 program for the period 2021-2027. ODTÜ-GÜNAM has become the only Research Infrastructure among the leading higher education institutions in our country. We congratulate all our researchers who contributed to the project applications. Urban Planning and Design Ready for 2030 ODTÜ-GÜNAM’s project application for “UP2030 (Urban Planning and design ready for 2030)” within the scope of “HORIZON-MISS-2021-CIT-02-01-2030” under the Mission 2021 year calls of Horizon Europe Program, Climate-Neutral, and Smart Cities.
