We successfully held the 5th General Assembly meeting of our EU Horizon project, SolarHub: A Greek-Turkish Solar Energy Excellence Hub to Advance the European Green Deal, with the valuable contributions of Ege Üniversitesi and the Ege Üniversitesi Güneş Enerjisi Enstitüsü in Izmir!
During the 3-day event held from December 11-13, 2024, we created an important platform to share innovative ideas and projects in the field of solar energy. The AP Demo Day event, held on December 12, attracted great interest with more than 160 participants and was attended by a wide range of external stakeholders.
At the event, ODAK Division Chief Researcher and Project Coordinator Prof. Dr. Derek Baker, ODAK Division Senior Researcher and Project Manager Dr. Hande Eryılmaz, PhD Project Solar Thermal Leader and ODAK Division Coordinator Assoc. Prof. Dr. Onur Taylan, Project PV Technical Leader and ModTec Division Senior Researcher Dr. Duygu Kuzyaka, and the project’s Ankara Ecosystem Leader and SiPV Division Senior Researcher Tayfun HIZ Hız delivered significant presentations. Additionally, Prof. Dr. Rasit Turan, Chairman of the ODTÜ-GÜNAM, shared his views as the Turkish stakeholder representative during the project evaluation session.
