ODTÜ-GÜNAM Emerging PV Technologies Division is one of the leading research infrastructures in Türkiye with a highly diversified R&D portfolio. Cutting-edge research and product development efforts are being pursued in the field of perovskite solar cells, perovskite/silicon (TANDEM) solar cells, organic photovoltaics, CdTe solar cells, and dopant-free asymmetric hetero-contact silicon solar cells. The division’s current focus is mainly concentrated on perovskite solar cells supported with state-of-the-art infrastructure for the development of both research-level and industrial-size perovskite solar cells. The division has close ties with the growing national industry as well as ongoing strong international collaborations with leading institutes in the field of emerging photovoltaics and is currently being recognized as the powerhouse for the development of novel solar technologies in Türkiye.
