We would like to share with our followers the achievements we have reached towards the end of 2023, which is also the 100th anniversary of our #Republic, full of experience and successes we have gained in project development, sectoral collaboration, scientific and social event organizations, and academic publications:
🌞 We are the coordinator of the SolarHub project and a project partner in the consortium of 6 #HorizonEuropean Projects (CST4ALL, UP2030 HE, PV4Plants, NEXUS, TRIUMPH Horizon Europe Project, ENRICH-TOGETHER). By starting in 2024, RISENERGY, APOLLO, FLUWS, and PERSEUS Horizon Europe projects will have been conducted.
🌞 Within the scope of our ODTÜ-GÜNAM Divisions, a total of 47 international #articles, 30 of which were published in #journals with an impact factor above 4, and 3 PhD (Dr. Aliekber Karabağ, Dr. Figen Varlıoğlu Yaylalı, Dr. Milad Ghasemi, Dr. Gamze Kökbudak Baldan, Dr. Damla Koçak) and 5 graduate (Ahmet Emin Keçeci, hassan osman, Selin Seyrek, Melisa Korkmaz Arslan, Sercan ASLAN) students successfully defended their theses.
🌞 The “#Photovoltaic Technologies Workshop” we organized within the scope of the #TÜBİTAK 1004 Program – Türkiye Photovoltaic Technologies Platform and the “Ayaş #AgriPV (#Agrivoltaics) Project”, which we inaugurated in October, were featured in more than 20 news in several domestic and international press and media organizations in line with ODTÜ-GÜNAM activities.
🌞 To develop our collaborations on #renewableenergy and #solarenergy, we took part in important national events and expos/fairs such as Solarex İstanbul, ProsumerExpo Türkiye, WENERGY EXPO, RE-You Project, TEKNOFEST, and EIF World Energy Congress&Expo, and in international organizations such as Intersolar Europe, SNEC PV POWER & Energy Storage EXPO, and EU PVSEC.
🌞 Within the scope of TÜBİTAK #BiGGLabsout program, of which we are a consortium member and coordinated by METU Technopolis, 1 spin-off company application has been found eligible for support.
🌞 We attended 25 scientific and technical events, such as #conferences, #symposiums, #workshops, and #webinars on solar energy conversion technologies in Türkiye and abroad, with more than 70 #invitedtalks, 4 #oralpresentations and 4 #posterpresentations, both physical and online.
🌞 Theoretical and Applied “#PVDEMY: Photovoltaic Cell Technologies” School was organized with the physical attendance of 11 of our sector stakeholder institution/company executives.
🌞 We organized #EuropeanUnion Projects Information Day, #Project Development and Writing, IPR, Working at Height, Basic #FirstAid, and #GenderEquality #training for our personnel with the participation of expert and experienced guest speakers in their fields.
